If you will be taking one of our popular multiday boat tour expeditions between El Nido and Coron, its path (the dashed line above) does not cover all the sites you can see in those tourist towns (yellow circled areas).
Therefore, for example, if you had six days to spend in this area, you can spend four days on the multiday (requires a minimum of two days in our regular banca boats or one day in our speedboat), one day in the El Nido area and one day around Coron.
The advantage of the multiday expedition is that it will take you through a beautiful, remote area of 82 islands off the beaten path and away from the hustle bustle. But since the sites around El Nido and Coron are very beautiful as well, you might also like to see those.
Why the multiday tour does not include any sites around El Nido:
- the tours start or end in Sibaltan, on the other side of the peninsula from El Nido, because there is not much to see around the northern tip of the peninsula
- it is a very long distance, and
- the waves can get rough in that part of the open ocean.
To see the sites of El Nido, we offer private tours designed to avoid the crowds as much as possible.
However, for Coron, our multiday expedition (dashed line above) include some of the most popular sites there. Such as Malcapuya, Bulog Dos, Ditaytayan and Banana Island, which are a bit farther from Coron and hence visited by the less frequent expedition day tours leaving from Coron.
Then there is Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoons, Barracuda Lake and Skeleton Wreck closer to Coron and perfectly along the multiday expedition path. Unfortunately, the tickets to the very popular Kayangan Lake and Twin Lagoons must be purchased in Coron the same day, due to crowd control, so if coming from El Nido/Sibaltan you will not be able to make those. But you can the next day in a custom tour, which can take you to those two and others in the Coron area not along the multiday expedition route. Since we offer private, custom tours in those two towns, you will be able to tailor fit them to your preferences.
And speaking of private, custom tours tailor made for your preferences, let’s not forget about our popular marriage proposal tours. And that we can arrange the particulars for a tour of the broader area, like the one we organized for one of our guests to Balabac.
If you’d like to explore this beautiful area, let us design the perfect package for you based on your preferences, whether it is cliff jumping, manta rays, turtles, white sand beaches off the beaten path, mingling with locals, snorkeling in crystal clear waters, or more.
