Proud to offer the best tasting Thai-European Fusion Cuisine, freshly prepared by our onboard chefs on the whole Manta Queen Fleet. Our catering options can be adjusted for vegetarian/vegan divers as well. The use of Monosodium Glutamate is banned on all of our trips. If you are allergic to nuts or other food ingredients, please notify the staff during your check-in. All meals onboard are served freshly cooked from the onboard kitchen. Snacks and fruits are served in between.

Important information
All participants joining our dive trips must hold a 30m depth certification, or obtain it onboard during the trip through one of the SSI Course options we offer.
Every diver is required to use a dive computer, either their own or one rented from us.
Personal diving insurance is mandatory in case of an accident (details below).
If your guest already has their own equipment, dive computer, and insurance, some of the information below may not apply to them. However, we’ve included full details so they can make an informed decision.
MARES EQUIPMENT – UPGRADE OPTIONS:
In addition to our standard full equipment rental, we offer optional upgrades for an additional surcharge. These include a 3mm full-length wetsuit or Avanti Quattro open-heel fins with booties (see the attached Equipment Rental Price List for details).
STANDARD FULL SET OF EQUIPMENT:
Mares BCD, Mares Regulator, Mask & Snorkel, Full Foot Fins, 3mm Shorty wetsuit, LED Dive-light.
For non-divers, Mask & Fins are included FREE of charge.
NON-DIVERS
Our trips are primarily designed for scuba divers, but non-divers/snorkelers are welcome—usually as partners or family members of divers.
Snorkelling is possible at many dive sites, but please note that no snorkel guide is provided, and some sites are unsuitable (e.g., Koh Tachai Pinnacle and Richelieu Rock).
Non-diver cabin rates are 1,000 THB less than diver cabins, with park fees of only 1,500 THB.
SCUBA DIVING INSURANCE COVERAGE
Personal diving insurance is mandatory when diving in the two Marine Parks.
Proof of coverage (insurance card or written confirmation) must be shown to the Tour Leader at trip check-in.
If your guest’s travel insurance includes scuba diving coverage, a screenshot of the relevant section plus their policy number is sufficient.
RECOMMENDED PROVIDERS
D.A.N (Divers Alert Network) – reliable coverage.
Dive Assure – highly recommended by many divers for broader benefits; they also sell short-term plans.
FYI: Although it is not the best option and has minimal coverage, we can provide Medical Only Diving Insurance coverage to your guests. (Price = 800 THB for 3 days, 1,100 THB for 4 days & 1,300 THB for 5 days).
Please note: This option covers up to 500,000 THB for medical expenses only and does not include emergency evacuation.
ROUND-TRIP SHARED TRANSFERS
We provide complimentary shared minivan transfers on departure and return days from anywhere in the Khao Lak or Phuket areas.
DEPARTURE DAY TRANSFERS:
Please provide your hotel name at least 48 hours before departure if you require early afternoon transfers from Khao Lak or Phuket.
PICK-UP TIMES:
Khao Lak: 3:30–4:00 pm
Phuket: confirmed no later than 1 day before departure.
Guests making their own way to our dive centre must arrive by 4:00 pm for check-in.
Phuket Airport arrivals: flights must land no later than 3:00 pm. The meeting point is Amazon Café outside Gate 3, Domestic Arrivals.
If arriving after 3:00 pm, a private taxi to our dive centre may be required (1,200 THB). We can help arrange this.
RETURN TRANSFERS:
Simply provide your hotel name in Phuket or Khao Lak to the Boat Tour Leader, and we’ll transfer you free of charge directly from the pier to your hotel.

Location 1 – Similan islands
The Similan Islands and its Whale Sharks! Liveaboard trips in this area is one of the best scuba diving experiences you will find in Thailand. Its huge granite boulders with caverns and arches, lush greenery and white sand beaches ring the nine islands, completing the view from above water. The marine ecology in this area is unparalleled, colorful schools of fish, coral reefs, and endangered species that welcome divers like the Whale Sharks or Manta Rays. Look out for such photogenic little critters as ghost pipefish, sea moths, frogfish, ribbon eels and many different nudibranchs. Koh Tachai and Koh Bon, members of the Similan Island National Park, are visited en-route to Richelieu Rock in the Surin Marine Park, and offer more Pelagics, Napoleon Wrasse and Night Diving for Macro-Critters.

Location 2 – more advanced northern dive sites
Skips the Similan Islands and dives only the more advanced northern dive sites. The marine ecology in this northern area is amazing, with colourful schools of fish, coral reefs, and endangered species that welcome divers like the Whale Sharks or Manta Rays. Look out for such photogenic little critters as ghost pipefish, sea moths, frogfish, ribbon eels and many different nudibranchs. Koh Bon and Koh Tachai, members of the Similan Marine Park, are first visited en-route to the farthest and world-famous dive site of Richelieu Rock in the Surin National Marine Park.
