Potentially yes. After you have stayed here for a certain time (perhaps at least two months), you will need an NBI clearance before you leave. Basically you must go to some police branch where they confirm you have a clean record and perhaps owe no institutional debts. Make sure you check this out thoroughly before making the long and expensive trek to Manila!
Depends on which country your passport is from, but generally often 90 days. Best is to consult your embassy in Manila or refer to the information above.
Not really, just make sure you are prepared well in advance, so there are no last second surprises. Again, it depends on which country you are from and where you are applying, but if applying in the big centers like Manila or Cebu, you can easily get a six month extension, and keep repeating that until your stay in the country has reached three years. After which you need to at least cross the border briefly before starting the process all over again.
For a temporary visitor or tourist visa, the general minimum requirements are:
- Passport/Travel Document Valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended period of stay in the Philippines;
- Duly Accomplished Visa application form;
- Proof of bona fide status as tourist or businessman;
- Confirmed tickets for return or onward journey to the next port of destination;
But again, this can vary depending on the country of your passport, so make sure to check with your embassy in Manila.
The prices of our boat tours depend on which tour it is. If you are joining a group the price is different than if hiring your own boat and crew. If it is your own private tour, usually it depends on the number of days and people. For the multiday expeditions between El Nido and Coron, there is a price calculator to give you an instant quote. As an example, a four day tour for two people would cost $2,500usd. For other tours, several factors may come into play, in which case it would be best to just write to us directly through the contact form below.
We offer the following types of tours:
-

There are several factors to consider:
- weather
- peak or low tourist season
For weather, the best time of year is during the dry (not rainy) season, which starts roughly around December and ends by the start of June. You can check out our weather forecast page for more details. But even during the rainy season, generally the rain is intense and short (often only a couple of hours), and past midnight, so that during the day it is often sunny – perhaps just a little cooler than during the dry season, which some may prefer.
The peak season is roughly from December to the end of February, but that means you will be sharing the sites with a lot of others, and the prices can go up in some places. Therefore, if you like to get away from the crowds and enjoy the beautiful scenery in greater peace, while it is still sunnier in general, you might prefer March to the end of May.
